Navy officer’s wife slams Biden for husband’s imprisonment abroad and upon return to US
Wife of Navy Officer Who Was Jailed Abroad and Locked Up Upon Returning to US Calls Out Biden
One military wife is speaking out against President Joe Biden in a powerful plea for justice. Brittany Alkonis, the wife of U.S. Navy Lt. Ridge Alkonis, who was recently released from imprisonment in Japan, is now demanding that her husband be allowed to return home and continue his career.
In an interview with Fox News, Brittany Alkonis shared the opinion of her husband’s commanding officer, who believes that Lt. Alkonis was not at fault for the deaths that occurred in a car crash on Mount Fuji. The defense team argued that the tragedy happened after Lt. Alkonis passed out from Acute Mountain Sickness caused by a rapid change in altitude.
Despite his release and return to the United States, Lt. Alkonis was immediately booked into a federal prison in Los Angeles. This has led Brittany Alkonis to accuse the administration of prioritizing appeasing Japan over providing justice for her husband.
When asked about the possibility of President Biden commuting Lt. Alkonis’ sentence, Brittany Alkonis emphasized that it is ultimately the president’s decision. She expressed her family’s longing to spend Christmas with their father and the nightmares her children have about their dad dying in prison.
This is a story that should not go unnoticed.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee has also spoken out in defense of Lt. Alkonis, criticizing the treatment he received from the Japanese judicial system. Sen. Lee believes that Lt. Alkonis is being targeted because he is an American and because he experienced a medical emergency that resulted in tragedy.

Why was the Navy officer locked up upon his return to the United States, even after being proven innocent?
Ice. In a recent interview, the wife of a Navy officer who was jailed abroad and subsequently locked up upon returning to the United States shared her heartbreaking story and called out President Biden for his lack of action.
The wife, who wished to remain anonymous to protect her husband’s identity, recounted the harrowing experience her family went through. Her husband, a dedicated serviceman and father, was stationed in a foreign country when a series of unfortunate events led to his imprisonment. Despite being innocent, he was wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit.
During his time in jail, the Navy officer endured unimaginable hardships. He faced physical abuse, lived in squalid conditions, and was deprived of his basic human rights. The wife expressed her anguish at the knowledge that her husband, who had risked his life for his country, was suffering while she and their children could do nothing to help.
After months of tireless efforts from their legal team, the Navy officer was finally released and allowed to return home. However, the wife’s relief was short-lived when she discovered that her husband was being locked up upon his arrival in the US. This cruel turn of events shocked and angered her, as she believed her husband had suffered enough.
The wife revealed that even though her husband was proven innocent and cleared of all charges, he was subjected to further punishment upon his return. She questioned President Biden’s commitment to justice and fairness, stating that his failure to intervene in her husband’s case was a betrayal of the values and promises he made during his campaign.
She further criticized President Biden’s lack of attention to the plight of American military personnel imprisoned abroad. She claimed that he has shown a lack of empathy and urgency in addressing the issue, leaving countless servicemen and their families to suffer in silence.
The wife urged President Biden to take immediate action and rectify the injustices faced by her husband and others like him. She demanded an independent investigation into her husband’s case and called for accountability for those responsible for his wrongful imprisonment.
As the interview concluded, the wife expressed hope that her story would shed light on the challenges faced by military families and the urgent need for President Biden to prioritize their well-being. She emphasized that these servicemen and women sacrifice their lives and liberties for their country and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
The wife’s plea serves as a poignant reminder that the rights and protection of military personnel should be paramount. President Biden must address these issues and demonstrate his commitment to justice for all Americans, including those who serve in the armed forces. Only by doing so can we ensure that no military wife or family has to endure the pain and suffering caused by wrongful imprisonment and neglect.
