With Biden, Soros Finally Has a President He Can Truly Control
George Soros is America’s most dangerous man. The investor wants to restore America to its liberal image. He is determined to change the priorities of our foreign policy to undermine our criminal-justice system. This week, The Post takes a look at the reach of Soros’ billions. Matt Palumbo (author of “The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros,” examines Soros’ acolytes in the Biden administration.
George Soros, 92 years old boasts greater influence in the Oval Office than ever before.
Despite dumping millions into US presidential elections He has, fortunately, for the country, burned most of that money to the ground before. Soros donated tens of millions to the failed presidential campaigns of John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, and even when he did score a win in Barack Obama, he would later complain that it didn’t get him the sort of influence he was looking for.
He “closed the door” Soros said that he knew him and told The New York Times. “He made one phone call thanking me for my support, which was meant to last for five minutes, and I engaged him, and he had to spend another three minutes with me, so I dragged it out to eight minutes.”
However, as I discovered in my book “The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros,” Biden with President Soros’ lackeys are everywhere, and the Soros infiltration into Team Biden began even before he was elected.
Biden’s transition team was formed after the 2020 election and quickly began staffing itself with liberals connected to Soros and his network.
Biden-assembled “Agency Review Teams,” Lists of people were included in the document. “responsible for understanding the operations” Each government agency was tapped to prepare Kamala Harris and Biden. “to hit the ground running on Day One.”
Soros was represented well by Biden’s picks, with individuals working for organizations founded by or funded by Soros making up at least 17 of them. These included people who were selected to serve on the transition teams of the State Department and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, United States Mission to the United Nations.
A number of individuals within the Soros sphere of influence then entered Biden’s Cabinet:
- Before becoming the senior advisor to the president in May 2020, Neera Tanden was president of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress. CAP, which bills itself as a public-policy group pushing liberal viewpoints on economic and social issues, is now headed by Patrick Gaspard, who served previously as President of Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF). Tanden had previously been nominated to head the Office of Management and Budget but didn’t survive the confirmation battle.
- Ron Klain, White House Chief of Staff, is a member of the Board of the Center for American Progress Action. This lobbying wing of Center for American Progress serves as the Chair of the Center for American Progress Action.
Klain was identified as the man who dragged Biden farther left and told The Daily Beast that “progressives are a big part of our party, and making sure their voices are heard here at the White House is a big part of my job.”
- Sam Berger was an ex-Vice President for Democracy and Government Reform at the Center for American Progress. He was also made Director of Strategic Operations and Policy for the COVID-19 Response Team.
- Antony Blinken, Secretary of State, is arguably the most connected to Soros. Antony’s father, Donald Blinken, and his wife, Vera, funded the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives at Central European University, which houses a digital collection of Hungarian historical documents. In one Soros Foundations Network report from 2002, Donald Blinken is listed on the Board of Trustees for CEU third after Soros (the chair) and Aryeh Neier, implying he’s high in the pecking order.
Hungarian Spectrum is the daily blog. boasts Soros among its donorsBlinken was named a potential secretary-of-state pick following the 2020 election. “Hungary will not be forgotten in the next four or perhaps eight years in Washington.” Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet referred to it after Blinken was confirmed secretary of state “great news for George Soros.”
Indeed, it was. One of the first steps Blinken took upon taking office was to sanction a long-time Soros critic. Sali Berisha (ex-prime minister and president of Albania) was sanctioned by Blinken in May 2021. “significant corruption,” He banned him, his spouse, and his children, from entering the United States.
Berisha and Soros had previously fought, with Berisha calling Soros, among other things, a “bomber” over the years. “great gander” He accuses him of “mafia acts in Albania.” Rep. Lee Zeldin couldn’t help but notice that the sanctions came seemingly out of nowhere, and when he grilled Blinken on them, the secretary of state denied having any contact with Soros regarding the sanctions but left the possibility open that “someone” at the State Department could.
Zeldin tried to reach out to the State Department for more information but was effectively ignored by them.
While Soros hasn’t been in the public lately, his children appear primed to take over his empire and are working overtime.
Alexander Soros, his 37-year old son, has been his de facto ambassador to the White House. He made at least half a dozen trips there since Biden became president. Alexander also forged relationships with other Democrats in the White House, which he posts on social media.
There’s a Soros, or a Soros acolyte, in the ear of President Biden every day.
How Soros spends his money
These are the major organizations George Soros uses for his agenda.
The Open Society Foundations
The Open Society Foundations, which has a near $20 billion endowment, is George Soros’s vehicle for financing his entire empire. The OSF acts as a philanthropic conglomerate and spends billions of dollars on grants to fund left-wing narratives and policies in economics, education and health care. Oftentimes an individual group is set up for a particular cause — like setting up a “Justice and Public Safety Political Action Committee” in one state to fund races for district attorney — and funded through this umbrella group. Soros has contributed $32 billion to the OSF with his personal fortune. The OSF’s current endowment rivals its cumulative spending since its inception. This indicates that it is well-positioned to outlive Soros.
Center for American Progress
John Podesta, an influential public-policy thinker, founded the Think Tank in 2003 to rival the likes of the more conservative Heritage FoundationHe is also a strong supporter of the Democratic Party. Over the years, Soros has provided at least $3,000,000 to the CAP. Patrick Gaspard, who was president of the OSF between 2017 and 2020, became the president of CAP on June 20, 2021. Politico described CAP as the “most influential think tank of the Biden era.”
Central European University
George Soros started University in Hungary in 1991. He wanted to push liberal ideas on the former Soviet Bloc countries after the fall. Robert Soros, his son, and many others who have held leadership positions within the OSF are among the members of the board. Among the school’s graduates include the former president of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, the former Georgian minister of defense, former Croatian minister of justice and multiple members of European Parliament. Over the years Soros has donated more than $400million to higher education. Only two schools received 75%: Bard College, New York State, and CEU.
