WOKE: Target Store That Was Destroyed, Looted During BLM Riots Now Boasts Murals Celebrating BLM Arson, Rioting For ‘Justice’
A Target store in Minneapolis that was looted and destroyed during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots now has murals outside their rebuilt store boasting of Black Lives Matter rioting and arson.
According to a report from AlphaNews, the murals were said by Target to be “temporary,” but as of April 29 they remain outside the building.

In November, the company announced that they had rebuilt two damaged stores — one in Minneapolis and the other in Atlanta — that were destroyed during the “demonstrations for racial justice,” or, the Black Lives Matter rioting.
“After closing due to damage sustained during the demonstrations for racial justice in late spring, we rebuilt the stores from the ground up in just five months, making them two of the fastest rebuilds in Target history,” Target announced. “As our teams welcome guests back this week, we’re excited for our communities to not only have a safe, easy and convenient place to shop, but also a place where they feel joy and pride when they visit.”
Emphasizing their goal of “diversity,” the company noted that they’ve doled out “pro-bono consulting services to Black-, Indigenous- and people-of-color-owned local businesses as they rebuild”:
We also made sure we invested in the Lake Street community’s overall rebuild efforts, even while our store was closed, by donating more than $125,000 in food and essential supplies to those in need and committing to 10,000 hours of pro-bono consulting services to Black-, Indigenous- and people-of-color-owned local businesses as they rebuild.

The Daily Wire reached out to Target for comment concerning the murals, specifically asking for clarification on their stance of illegal acts like looting and arson. We also asked Target if they condone vandalism, looting, and arson of other smaller stores in the area.
The company did not respond in time for publication.
Protests and riots erupted across the country back in May 2020, following the release of a viral video showing the attempted the arrest and detainment George Floyd.
Soon after the video was released, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was fired and charged in the murder of Floyd. Last month, a jury found the former officer guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter relating to Floyd’s death.
Chauvin and three other officers arrested and detained Floyd last May after he allegedly gave counterfeit money to a clerk at a convenience store. Following a struggle to get Floyd into the back of a police cruiser, viral video shows that Chauvin kneeled on Floyd’s neck and back for nearly nine minutes to detain Floyd while reportedly waiting for paramedics to arrive.
The defense team for Chauvin is expected to appeal the verdict.
