22-year-old woman electrocuted in San Diego after car collides with electrical box.

Tragic Accident in San Diego

SAN DIEGO—In a devastating incident on August 26, a 22-year-old woman lost⁣ her life while attempting to push‌ a⁣ vehicle off an electrical box ⁤after a collision, ‍according to the San ⁤Diego⁤ Police Department.

The⁣ incident occurred in the Ridgeview/Webster ​neighborhood ​on 1300 Euclid Ave. at around 2:30 ​a.m. The ⁤woman was a passenger ‌in‍ a 2014 Kia Forte‍ traveling⁢ southbound when the vehicle veered off the road, drove over the ‌sidewalk,‍ and struck an electrical box.‍ Both the⁤ driver, a 31-year-old⁣ woman, ⁤and the passenger ‌got out of the car.

“In a tragic turn ⁣of events, the passenger attempted to push the vehicle off ⁢the electrical box‍ and was electrocuted,” stated the⁢ police.

Despite immediate medical attention, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, on the other⁣ hand, suffered minor‍ electrical burns and⁤ was transported to⁢ a nearby hospital. Fortunately, her injuries are​ not life-threatening.

At this ⁢time, the victim’s ⁢identity has not been disclosed. The SDPD Traffic Division is⁢ currently ⁤conducting⁤ a thorough investigation into⁣ the⁢ accident.
