Wynonna Judd has just announced that “A Tribute to the Judds” album is on its way, featuring a stellar lineup of performers who will be singing her and her late mother Naomi Judd’s most beloved songs. This highly anticipated album is set to release in October, and it’s going to be a must-listen for country music fans everywhere.
The 59-year-old country singer couldn’t contain her excitement about this project. These iconic songs, originally made popular by their country music duo The Judds, will be reimagined by some of the biggest names in the industry. Prepare to be blown away by the incredible talents of Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, LeAnn Rimes, and many more as they put their own unique spin on these timeless tracks.
In a statement on Facebook, Judd expressed her gratitude and excitement, saying, “To have all of these artists, most of which are my friends, come together and lend their voices and artistry to reimagine these songs, is so special.”

With a 14-song collection of their biggest hits, Judd is thrilled for these songs to live on for generations to come. The album will feature incredible collaborations, such as Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson teaming up for “Mama He’s Crazy,” and Reba McEntire joining forces with Carly Pearce, Jennifer Nettles, and Gabby Barrett for the fan-favorite “Girls Night Out.”
Other standout performances include LeAnn Rimes taking on “Have Mercy,” and the power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani delivering a mesmerizing rendition of “Love Is Alive.” Additionally, Jelly Roll, K. Michelle, and The Fisk Jubilee Singers will come together for the iconic song “Love Can Build A Bridge.”
Exciting news for fans! On August 18, a preview of the album will be released with the first track, although the specific song has yet to be announced, according to Billboard. You can find the full list of tracks here.
The album was produced by the group’s original producer, Brent Maher, who shared his excitement about the recording process. Maher said, “There was a joy and passion along with some poignant moments in re-recording these Judds songs that are impossible to describe. I hope you enjoy this record as much as we enjoyed making it.”
In a touching tribute, “A Tribute to The Judds” will also be partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness in honor of Wynonna Judd’s mother, Naomi, who tragically lost her battle with mental health and died by suicide in April 2022.
