Why People Trust Donald Trump
A lot of people trust Donald Trump because they see him as authentic. So when Trump says, “I’m going to win and I’m winning big in all the polls,” these voters trust what he says — even though there are no polls showing him winning big against Joe Biden. According to a recent poll, they trust him more than they trust friends and family.
Trump has forged a stronger connection with the people who support him than any political figure of my lifetime. That is just a fact. And that connection means it doesn’t matter what the facts are or what the data are; it means if he says that he is going to win, people trust him and think he’s going to win.
And because he thinks he is going to win, he’s not going to participate in the Republican presidential debate.
But here’s why he should: People who are voting for Trump in the primaries should remember Trump skipping the debate because one year from now, if Trump is the nominee, Joe Biden will not debate Donald Trump.

Biden will make any excuse. He’s not going to get on the stage with Trump.
Republicans will say Biden’s afraid.
And then, every Democrat and member of the mainstream media will come back and say, “Trump didn’t debate any of the Republicans. Why exactly should Biden debate Trump?”
The media will side with Biden and there will be no debate. So if you are nominating Trump because you think he’s going to debate Biden, just get ready. Joe Biden is not going to debate Donald Trump.
And the last time Biden stayed in his basement and didn’t come out, he won.
