‘You Absolute Drama Queens’: Dana Loesch Takes Axios Apart For Attack On Elon Musk
Nationally syndicated radio host Dana Loesch unloaded on Axios on Friday after the outlet accused Twitter owner Elon Musk of taking “unprecedented” action to ban journalists who shared real time tracking data revealing his location.
Musk stated that such real-time doxxing was akin to posting “assassination coordinates” — and as such would not be tolerated. And when a number of left-leaning journalists tested that theory, Musk suspended their accounts from the platform.
Axios called the move “unprecedented,” tweeting, “Twitter’s suspension of several journalists last night was unprecedented: There’s never been an attempt by a major social media platform to suspend so many journalists all at once.”

In the linked article, the outlet added, “The Committee to Protect Journalists said that if the reporters’ suspensions are confirmed as retaliation for their work, ‘this would be a serious violation of journalists’ right to report the news without fear of reprisal.’”
But as a number of people quickly pointed out, Twitter had suspended an entire outlet — The New York Post — for sharing the bombshell report on Hunter Biden’s laptop. And in the days that followed, the platform had suspended a number of other accounts — whether they were journalists or not — for sharing the same story.
“They suspend the entire New York Post you absolute drama queens,” Loesch pointed out.

Fox News media reporter Joseph Wulfsohn added, “‘Try being an entire news organization with legitimate breaking news during a presidential election.’ -New York Post.”
“Hey — except for suspending the account of the oldest running daily newspaper in the U.S. called the New York Post for a Hunter Biden bombshell that (eventually) was verified across the board. Having difficultly finding Axios taking any issue with that,” The Hill’s media and politics columnist Joe Concha tweeted.

Newsmax host and former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer weighed in as well, noting that Axios had not gotten nearly as worked up when the post had been suspended.
“‘Unprecedented?’ Twitter locked the entire @nypost account after it FALSELY peddled the narrative that Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation,” Spicer tweeted. “And PS you guys didn’t seem to care too much about journalists then.”
“Twitter’s suspension of a sitting American Chief Executive Was Un-Presidented,” Jim Hanson quipped. “Welcome to the level playing field. Cope.”
